Wide angle binoculars

The field of view (FOV) is the width you see when looking through a binocular and it is expressed either as the angle of vision or the width of vision in  feet at 1000 yards (or meters at 1000 meters). This angle of vision is determined by the magnification of the binocular as well as the deliberate eyepiece design and not by the size of the objective lenses.
Wide angle binoculars come into their own in situation where the viewer wants to see the full picture or when the viewer is trying to look at fast moving objects like fast-moving animals or birds.
This matter is discussed in “Best wide angle binoculars” and a review of the best binoculars from different price ranges are included.
